The Towers of the Teeth are two towers built on both sides of the Black Gate. The two towers are called Carchost and Narchost, and stand on both sides of the Haunted Pass, an area between the Mountains of Shadow and Mountains of Ash.

- The Towers of the Teeth were originally built by Men of Gondor following the downfall of Sauron at the end of the Second Age.
- The name Carchost means "fang fort" in Sindarin.
- The name Narchost means "fire fort" in Sindarin.
